I believe that with guidance and support, everyone can heal from past difficult life experiences.

Coming out of winter

It felt like a long winter….

A part of you began this journey with some idea of where to go but was unsure about who would provide you with company. It seemed like you were alone in your journey, but you kept going.

It was cold, then came the spring and summer…things seemed exciting at times, but sadness came back at other times.

You had to dig deep to understand how to put pieces together until life hit hard, making you realize you needed to keep going, let go of your comfort zone and warm clothes, and walk firmly into the sun.

Go and find the light.

Look for the light.

You have walked in darkness for a while, trying to understand.

But this is your journey. There are going to be people who will help you find the light.

A bird flying high would make your eyes look straight at that ray of light.

Even in times of confusion . . . lookup for the light.

Coming out of winter might feel disorienting, but you can ground yourself

with steady feet.

Coming out of winter might make you sweat in warm clothes because it is time to move on and leave sweaters behind.

Coming out of winter might feel uncomfortable because it calls you to leave behind what no longer serves you.

Coming out of winter invites you to connect with who you are inside and what you have always wanted.

This is your chance.

Embrace the happy summer of life. Summer has arrived and is here to stay!

Walk barefoot.

Sink deep at the beach.

Sit on the balcony enjoying the warm breeze.

Listen to the birds and animals waking you up in the morning. They are singing for you.

Coming out of winter does not have to be painful, bothersome, or sad. It can be the chance life gives you to not follow other dreams but yours.
